About
Cedar Play started as a shared notes document between three friends who kept texting each other about where to go next in whatever game was eating our evenings. At some point the notes got long enough to turn into a small site, and here we are.,We're an independent team. Nobody hands us a schedule or tells us which titles to praise. We pick games that look interesting, download them like anyone else, and keep a log of our progress, the fiddly bits, and the moments that actually clicked.,Our pick process is simple. A game gets a full write-up only after someone on the team has put real hours into it, far enough to speak about pacing and difficulty curves instead of first impressions. If we quit early, we say so.,We cover a wide spread of genres on purpose. RPGs, racers, strategy, cozy simulators, the lot. Variety keeps us honest, because the thing that makes a puzzle game great is not what carries a racing game.
Markus Lindqvist — Markus has been editing game coverage for over a decade and still keeps a cracked phone screen as proof of commitment. He handles our walkthroughs and argues about difficulty settings for sport.
